Knowing me, Eating you (2008)


Installation of my chocolate head into my degree show. Influenced by Cosimo Cavallaro and Janine Antoni's artworks, in the video I attempt to eat my own head made out of plain chocolate, the idea was to gorge myself on my own image. Eating chocolate is is widely acknowledged as being a substitute for sex as it releases the same cal in the brain at the peak of orgasm. At first it seems like an act of extreme vanity but it progresses into a form of self loathing and disgust.
